This abode of Lord Shiva in a remote area is worth having a Darshan. The journey to Adi Kailash is one of the most remarkable of these. Mount Adi Kailash is located in the Vyans valley of Pithoragarh district of Kumaon. This valley is home to the Rangs or the Shauka people who held an enviable monopoly in the Indo-Tibet trade for centuries before the Sino war of 1962.
Mount Adi Kailash is an exact replica of the holy Mount Kailash in Tibet and holds special significance among the people of India. Commencing from the border town of Dharchula, the tour to Adi Kailash passes through some of the most important and picturesque villages of the Vyans valley like Budi, Garbyang, Gunji, Nabi and Kuti.

Jonglingkong is called Chhota Kailas or Adi Kailash (6191 m) , is located in the Indian Himalayan range near Om Parvat in Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand, and shares its border with the Northern side of Tibet and Nepal to the east. While its small but beautiful lake is called Parvati Tal. The reflection of the peak in the lake is really fascinating. There is a temple near the lake, which is sometimes visited by swan-like birds. A little distance from here is to be found the remains of a dry lake. Along the river, Kuti is two passes – Lampia Dhura and Mangsa Dhura – leading to Tibet. The ITBP and SPF personnel will tell whether one can cross the Sinla pass to reach Bedang. If this is not possible one will have to return. If there is little or no snow, one should set out early in the morning to cross the pass. The route to Sinla pass is under a heavy blanket of snow. One can see the Chhota Kailas peak constantly from there.Your journey goes through charming alpine meadows, glaciers, high altitude lakes, lush green valleys and snow-capped mountains with a stunning Himalayan sunrise and sunset. ‘Tawaghat’ is the basecamp for Adi Kailash where the confluence of river Kali and East Dhauli river. Om Parvat is located near Nabhi Dhang camp (Nepal) on Mt Kailash yatra route. You can reach the Om Parvat base only by foot and the landscape and path is very serene, you will get amazed with mesmerizing views.
Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Trek/Yatra is famous destination among trekkers and devotee situated in Vyas valley of Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand and border of Nepal, Tibet. This yatra takes 06 days from Dharchula and many other destination can be explore during this yatra like Kainchi Dham, Patal Bhubaneswar, Golu Temple, Jageswer Group of Temples. Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Trek/Yatra is famous for its divine ambiance, Nature beauty, Flora Fauna, Cultural and Traditional villages, Kali River and its tributary water streams, Mountain view of om Parvat, Adikailsh, Pandav paravt, Kunti Parvat, Panchachuli Group of peaks. Till Gunji, the path of Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims and Adi Kailash pilgrims remains the same. From Gunji, a route leads to Nabi, Kuti, Jolingkag, etc. to Kailash. And the second route goes through Kala Pani (origin of Kali river) and Nabhidhang (397 m) towards Lipulekh Pass. From where the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims enter Tibet. On this route, 4 mountains can be seen from Nabhidhang. There are proper arrangements for food and lodging in every village of the yatra halt.
Om Parvat is magical and known for its natural and spiritual makeover, here is natural shape of snow ॐ (Aum) in Om Parvat, also written as Aum Om is part of the iconography found in ancient and medieval era manuscripts, temples, monasteries and spiritual retreats in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. We have to reach Nabhidhang to see Om Parvat. It is described in detail in many Puranas about the Om Parvat. Tone will see the spiritual aura all around. There are legend associated with each of the roads, forests and peaks here since this is part of mythological inscriptions as “Dev Bhoomi”. Why is Nabhidhang named Nabhidhang? The answer is also natural as soon as you reach here.
Adi Kailash आदि कैलाश
Adi Kailash is one of the five Kailash, it is a replica of Mount Kailash, Adi Kailash known as chota kailash.In this journey of Adi Kailash, and many famous peaks of Himalayas are seen. Such as 6 Mountains, Pandava Mountains, Brahm Mountains etc. Adi Kailash Yatra, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, Panchachuli Base Track (Darma Valley) and Narayan Ashram (Chaudas Valley) are welcome and greetings to all of you at the base camp Dharchula. The reflection of Adi Kailash Parvat in Gaurikund is amazing experience for devotees.
The Adi Kailash or Chhota Kailash is located in a different direction, near Sin La pass and near Brahma Parvat, the base camp of Adi Kailash is 17 km from the Kutti village at sacred Jolingkong Lake with a Hindu Shiva temple.

Arrive to Delhi Railway Station Board the pre-booked train to Haldwani
Boarding the night train for overnight journey to Haldwani / Kathgodam
Ealy morning reached Kathgodam
Pick up from Kathgodam and proceed to Pithoragarh by Jeep. We will start early and visit Bhimtal first and then go for Neem Kiroli Baba temple at Kanchi Dham. After visiting Neem Kiroli Babawe will leave for Jageshwar Temple and reach Pithoragarh. On arrival at Pithoragarh Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel (Decent 3 star level hotel on twin / triple share basis)
The morning after breakfast proceed to Dharchula via Baling
The journey is around 100kms will take around 3 hours by jeep. We will complete the paperwork for the Medical & Inner line permit. If possible we will go to Nepal (Point of major importance: that we have entered the international borders of both Nepal & China and need to get your inner line permit.) Dinner and Overnight stay at Basic Hotel with washroom. (Twin / Triple sharing basis).
The morning after breakfast will proceed to Gunji by Jeep.
On the way can see a glimpse of Mt. Annapurna and other Himalayan peaks.
Arrived Gunji in the afternoon, En-route We will also visit natural beautiful villages like Chialekh,Garbyang , Napalchu in the Nabi Region. Dinner and overnight stay at Gunji/ Nabi (homestay with common washroom)
The morning after breakfast proceed to Kalapani and visit Kali temple
Drive from Kalapani to Navidhang for Om Parvat darshan 35 km for 45 min by vehicle. Here we come across the Om Parvat with the natural shape of snow ॐ (Aum) in Om Parvat
At Om Parvat we will do Darshan/ puja/meditation and return back to Kuti. After Om Parvat darshan we move to Kalapani and if Government allows, we can go for Darshan of Mount Kailash (Subjected to permission by authorities) from Old Lipu Pass and please note this is not a part of our itinerary, but we are still trying but not sure and if permitted there is a possibility to do darshan. Dinner and overnight stay at Kuti (homestay with common toilet) With 2km trek one way if permitted we can see Mount Kailash)
The morning after breakfast visit the nearby places like Pandav fort, Kunti Parvat. Walk around the village Kuti.
The second half proceeds to Jollingkong for acclimatization (cold weather & high altitude conditions) Guest have the option to walk around and visit Gaurikund i.e., close, in the foothills of Adi Kailash Dinner and night stay at Jollingkong. (camp with open toilet or portable toilet)
Early in the morning see the PANORAMIC Bestowing Ambiance of the divine Adi Kailash. Visit Parvati Temple which is by trek for 3 km from the camp site and we have the option of doing Parikrama of Parvati Sarovar Kund (2km).
See the reflecting image of Mt Adi Kailash in Gauri Kund. Afternoon return back to Kuti, Dinner and Night stay at Kuti old Heritage Homes (4-5 people stay in the room with common toilets)

Payments: For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in INDIA but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnel’s hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.
Apart from above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance.
Mode of Payment: Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on Sunday’s will be considered on next working day (Monday).
For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Wildlife Safaris cancellation: All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ iadjusted against it.
