Yoga and meditation have been always an integral part of Nepal tourism. The tourists take refuge to this mystic land to get freedom from the bustling life. The one indulges in yoga and meditation to get inner peace of mind. Few get this opportunity to retreat themselves in the lap of the mountains for meditation. In the yoga and meditation tour, you will get an immense chance to enjoy the exotic lifestyle of the Nepalese people. It is an ideal place to perform meditation on the lap of the mountains. The tourists take this tour for improving better mental health. Many tourists feel that taking the yoga and meditation tour is like a path of taking salvation. Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day

5pm – 5.30pm: – Welcome Herbal tea
5.30pm – 7pm:- Yoga class
7pm – 7.30pm:– Dinner
7.30pm – 8pm:– Interaction, or Star Gaze
8pm – 10pm:– Evening walk followed by yoga class
10pm :– Bed

Our drivers will pick you up at the airport. You will be checked in before 5 pm in the hotel. After checking into the hotel, you will be welcomed with herbal tea. Then you will be taken to the meditation and yoga center. Today is the first day of your yoga tour. You will start with prayer along with your yoga teacher. Then you will practice different postures like spinal asana and yoga nidra. Then you will go for your dinner. After the dinner, you will go out for either personal interaction or star gaze. Mostly, tourists love to be close to nature. At night after the walk, you will again go to the center for meditation purpose again. You will practice vajrasana and self-revision. You will go to bed strictly at a particular time.

Day 2:-Kathmandu to Chitwan

6am:- Waking up and freshen up
6.30am – 7am:– Herbal tea
7am – 8.30am:– Yoga class
9am – 10am:– Breakfast
Kathmandu to Chitwan (distance):– 165km (6hours)
Mode of Transport:– bus coach

The following morning after waking up, you will drink warm water. After taking herbal tea, you will freshen yourself up for the prayer class. Today, you will start with your warm-up exercise which will be followed by Yogasana, Suryanamaskar, Shanti Path, and Pranayam. Then you will have your breakfast along with herbal tea.
You will be driving to Chitwan National Park. It will take around 6 hours to reach the park. This national park is located at the southern part of the country. In the early day, the British, as well as Nepalese, went to this park for hunting purpose. You will also go out for scouting on the back of the elephant. UNESCO enlisted this park as one of the World’s Heritage sites. After coming back to the hotel you will take your dinner. After dinner, you will be going for your meditation class.

Day 3:-Chitwan sightseeing

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga class

After waking up, you will go for Morning Prayer. You will start your day with warm-up exercise and Suryanamaskar. It will be followed with Shanti Path, Pranayam and Yogasana. Today, you will explore the park and participate in other activities like elephant riding and jungle walk. You can go to visit the nearby tribal village of Tharu. You can also go for canoeing as well. The tour guide will help you in getting better views of the national park. If you are lucky enough, you will get an opportunity to visit other indigenous wildlife species as well. In the evening, you can go to see the performance of Tharu people. This tribe is an aboriginal tribe having their own language and cultural traditions to follow. After taking dinner, you will again go for an evening meditation class.

Day 4:-Chitwan to Lumbini

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga class
Chitwan to Lumbini:– 155km (4hours)
Mode of transport:- bus coach

After waking up, you will go for Morning Prayer followed by other meditation postures like Suryanamaskar, Pranayam, Yogasana and Shanti Path. Then you will have your morning breakfast and get yourself ready for Lumbini. It is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Here, you will explore other Buddhist monasteries as well. The first day, you will go for the local market visit. Then you will come back to your hotel for dinner. After this, you will go for meditation.

Day 5:-Lumbini sightseeing

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga class

After waking up, you will go for the prayer class. Then you will follow the other meditation postures. After breakfast, you will explore the places located around Lumbini. You will visit the garden where Lord Buddha took birth. You will also go to visit the Mayadevi temple and the sacred pond called Puskarini. It is believed that Queen Mayadevi took birth in this sacred pond. After looking at the sites located in the vicinity, you will come back for the evening meditation. After this, you will take your dinner

Day 6:-Lumbini to Pokhara to Lake City

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga class
Lumbini to Pokhara:– 201km (8hours)
Mode of transport:- bus coach

After waking up, you will go for your yoga class. Today also after herbal tea, you will practice Suryanamaskar, Shanti path, pranayama, and Yogasana. Then you will take your breakfast and start for the beautiful journey to Pokhara. If you are a nature lover, then you will definitely fall for the scenic beauty of these mountains. After reaching the hotel, freshen yourself. You will then go for the evening meditation. At night you will stay at Pokhara.

Day 7:-Pokhara sightseeing

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga class

After waking up early in the morning, you will be driving to Sarangkot. The tourists love to take this 35 minutes’ drive from Pokhara to catch the glimpse of sunrise from the mountains. You will also get the close look of Annapurna Mountains as well. You will start your day fabulously with such a beautiful sight. You will come back to the hotel for breakfast. Then you will go for the hiking to the World Peace Stupa. It is one of the most important Buddhist tourist sites that offer an overview of the city. Then you will go for the Davis fall as well. After looking at the gorgeous waterfall, you will go to visit Gupteshwar cave located at the opposite side of the falls. If you will get the chance, then you will go for the Tibetan Refugee camp as well.
Pokhara is famous for adventure sports activities as well. You can go for Zip Flyer, Ultralight Flight and Paragliding as well as per your costing.
After coming back, you will go for evening meditation.

Day 8:-Pokhara to Kathmandu

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga class
Pokhara to Kathmandu:– 200km (7hours)
Mode of transport:- bus coach

After the warm-up exercise, then you will again practice other meditation postures like Suryanamaskar, Shanti Path, Yogasana, and Pranayama. You will be driving to the capital city of Kathmandu after taking breakfast. It will take around 7 hours to reach the city. After exploring the local market place, you will go for an evening meditation class.

Day 09:-Kathmandu sightseeing

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga Class

Wake up early in the morning for your meditation class. After the yoga, you will take your breakfast and get yourself ready for exploring the beautiful city of Kathmandu. After taking short rest, you will be going for the darshan of Pashupatinath. This place holds view religious and spiritual values. You will encounter different hermits practicing penance in the holy shrine. The cremations are also carried out in the holy river of Bagmati. Unless the Hindus, no one is allowed to visit the temple premise. Pashupatinath is the national deity of the country and it comes under the list of UNESCO’s world heritage sites list.
Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas located in Nepal. This stupa is listed under the world’s heritage sites made by UNESCO. This stupa route was used earlier as the trade route to enter the Kathmandu valley. It stands as a symbol of peace. This pilgrimage site is quite famous among the Buddhist followers. The Licchavi kings built this monument in the 14th century after the demise of Lord Buddha. The followers offer their prayers in the stupa. The Nepalese calls this stupa Chorten Ghenpo that means the great stupa. The refugees from China migrated to Kathmandu and from that time onwards the place became an important site.
Later you will be going to visit Swayambhunath stupa. This marvelous stupa back from the ancient time will make you feel complete in this mystic land of Nepal. This stupa is located on the top of the hillock and it is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage sites for the Buddhist followers. This stupa was constructed during the Licchavi period. The giant eyes of Lord Buddha are the most enticing site in the entire complex of the stupa. You can get an overview of the Kathmandu valley from the top of the hillock.
After coming back to the hotel, you will go for the evening meditation class.

Day 10:-Departure

6.30 am – 8am:– Yoga class

You will wake up early in the morning and get yourself ready for the for the meditation class. Today is the last day; you will practice Suryanamaskar, Shanti Path, Pranayama, and Yogasana. After morning yoga class, you will take your breakfast. Our driver will drop you at the airport.
